This Privacy Policy applies to the information that we obtain through your use of the Platform via a Device or when you otherwise interact with AsianHotelier.Org. The Platform includes the AsianHotelier.Org web site and SaaS service but does not include any other own- or third-party products or services for which a separate privacy policy is provided. These are third party products or services that you may choose to integrate with AsianHotelier.Org services. By accessing and using this Platform, you confirm that you have read and fully understood this Privacy Policy, that you agree to the collection and the usage of your own and others’ personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy and that you have the authority to provide us with all information submitted by you via the Site, including but not limited to personal information of third parties. By registering for or using the AsianHotelier.Org Services and accepting the Terms of Service you consent to the collection, transfer, processing, storage, disclosure, and other uses described in this Privacy Policy.
Personal Data
Visitors and Users: While using this Platform, you may provide us with personally identifiable information. This refers to information about you that can be used to contact or identify you, and information on your use of and activities at our Site that may relate to you (“Personal Information”). Personal Information that we collect may include, but is not limited to, your name and email address. When you visit the Site, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website. This information may include, but is not limited to, your Internet Protocol address, browser type, the web page you were visiting before you came to our Site and information you search for on our Site. Like many websites, we may also use “cookies” to collect information. A cookie is a small data file stored by your browser at your Device’s hard disk for record-keeping purposes.
The data that we collect and that we may share with our affiliated hotels may include, but is not limited to, education, experience, email, phone, skype account, nationality, current location, birthdate, graduation date, last experience title, last experience department, status (active or not), creation and registration date, last update, approval date and last login, profile completion, and Tags. When you complete or edit your profile with further information about yourself or your organization, this information may also include documents or files that you upload to your profile, such as your resume, diploma, cover letters or endorsement letters for candidates, and, for companies and hotel schools, items such as news, articles, videos, pictures, and social media feeds. Providing further information about yourself beyond what is expressly required is on a voluntary basis. Should you decide not to share certain information while using our Services, this may affect some of the Services provided by the Platform, and your experience as a user may be restricted.
Credit card information you may provide when you make online orders on the Site is processed through a third-party credit card service company which uses encryption to protect your credit card information. The Platform does not store such information.
Purpose of Processing of Personal Data
Personal Information is or may be used for the following purposes:
- to provide and improve our Platform, services, features and content,
- to administer your use of our Platform,
- to enable you to enjoy and easily navigate the Platform,
- to better understand your needs and interests,
- to fulfill requests you may make,
- to personalize your experience,
- to provide or offer software updates and product announcements, and
- to provide you with further information and offers from us or third parties that we believe you may find useful or interesting, including newsletters, marketing or promotional.
Each domain’s data are retained for as long as the Customer’s paid subscription to the service or free plan lasts. If Customer elects not to renew a Subscription, Customer’s account is downgraded to the free version of the Services. If Customer has a free version account and does not log into an account for more than 365 days, that account is permanently deleted. We will provide reminder notifications before deleting Customer’s account.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
Users: We will display your Personal Information in your profile page and elsewhere on the Platform according to the preferences you set in your account. Any information you choose to provide should reflect how much you want other AsianHotelier.Org Users to know about you. We recommend that you guard your anonymity and sensitive information, and we encourage you to think carefully about what information you disclose in your profile pages. You can review and revise your profile information at any time. You should be aware that the administrator, as well as specially designated support personnel in order to provide support for technical issues you may face, may be able to: access information in and about your account; access communications history, including file attachments, for your account; disclose, restrict, or access information that you have provided or that is made available to you when using your account, including your Content; and control how your account may be accessed or deleted.
Third Parties: We do not sell your Personal Information or Content and will not share or disclose any of your Personal Information or Content with third parties except as described in this policy. We do not share Personal Information about you with third parties for their marketing purposes (including direct marketing purposes).
Compliance with Laws and Law Enforcement: AsianHotelier.Org cooperates with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law. We will disclose any information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to respond to claims and legal process, to protect the property and rights of AsianHotelier.Org or a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop any activity we may consider to be, or to pose a risk of being, illegal, unethical, inappropriate or legally actionable.
Children: Our services are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with Personal Information, we will take steps to delete such information. Request for Access and Inquiries
Access: You may at any time hereafter request for access to, or request for rectification or correction of your Personal Data (subject to payment of fees, if applicable), or limit the processing of your Personal Data by the Platform however subject to the exceptions and restrictions as may be contained under the applicable law.
Rectification: You have the right to require the rectification of inaccurate data relating to you without undue delay, as well as to fill in incomplete data if necessary for processing. If you have an account on the Platform you can update your account data through your profile by selecting “My Profile” from the options menu at the top of the screen.
Erasure: You have the right to ask for the erasure of personal data concerning you without undue delay. You can send an email for this, indicating the specific request at privacy@asianhotelier.org. AsianHotelier.Org by means of its designated personnel will erase the data where one of the following grounds applies: a) the personal data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes of processing; or b) the person requesting the erasure withdraws consent on which the processing is based and there is no other legal ground for the processing; or c) the data subject objects to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing or the data subject objects to processing for direct marketing; or d) the personal data have to be erased for compliance with a legal obligation. AsianHotelier.Org will not proceed to the erasure of the personal data if the data must be maintained for compliance with a legal obligation or in cases where the processing is required for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims. If you receive marketing emails, you can remove yourself from the recipients list by selecting the “unsubscribe” link within the e-mail.
The Platform reserves the right to amend or modify this Privacy Policy from time to time.

These Terms of Use (together with the other documents referred to below) set out the terms on which you may use our website, applications, or tools provided by AsianHotelier.Org (hereinafter referred to as the “Platform”) which is operated by AH Organisation Sdn Bhd (“us”, “we”, “our”).
You should read these Terms of Use carefully before using our Platform, as by using our Platform you are confirming that you accept these Terms of Use and that you will comply with them. If you do not accept these Terms of Use you should leave our Platform immediately. The following policies also apply to your use of our Platform:
- Our privacy policy, By using our Platform you are consenting to us processing any personal data that you provide us or that we collect from you as a result of your use of our Platform. Our privacy policy sets out what we do with that personal data.
We may also, from time to time, post on the Website, guidelines and rules relating to the use of the Website. All such guidelines or rules are hereby incorporated by reference into these Terms of Use.
You agree that we may modify these Terms of Use without liability and without prior notice to you. The modified Terms of Use will be posted on the Website and will come into effect from the date of such posting. You are advised to check for updates to these Terms of Use regularly, prior to accessing and/or using the Website.
Territory
The information on the Platform is directed solely at persons accessing the Platform from Malaysia. We make no representation that any product or service referred to on the Platform is available, or appropriate for use for any other location.
Access Rights
In order to make a purchase on the Platform, you will need to register an account with us. By registering an account, you warrant that:
(a) you are at least 18 years of age;
(b) if you are below 18 years of age, you have obtained the consent of your parent or legal guardian, or you are under the supervision of your parent or legal guardian;
(c) you are using your actual identity;
(d) the personal data that you have provided to us is true, accurate, complete, and current; and
(e) you will maintain and promptly update the personal data that you have provided to us in order that such data is kept true, accurate, complete, and current.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. We will not be liable for any loss or damage for arising from your failure to comply with these Terms of Use. You also agree that you will not share passwords, authentication credentials, or other means of account access with a third party, except Authorized Users. If You have reasons to believe that Your account is no longer secure, You must immediately notify us at support@asianhotelier.org.
Payment for Services
Certain features of the Platform may require you to pay fees. Before you pay any fees, you will have an opportunity to review and accept the fees that you will be charged. All fees are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and, unless explicitly provided otherwise herein, are non-refundable.
We reserve the right to determine pricing for the Services. We will make reasonable efforts to keep pricing information published on the Platform up to date, available at /prices. We encourage you to check the Platform periodically for current pricing information. We may change the fees for any feature of the Services, including additional fees or charges. We at our sole discretion, may make promotional offers with different features and different pricing to any of our Users. These promotional offers, unless made to you, will not apply to your offer or this Agreement.
Subscription Services. The paid Services may include automatically recurring payments for periodic charges (“Subscription”). The price, term, and restrictions of any Subscription will be set forth in an applicable Order. If you activate a Subscription, you authorize Us to periodically charge, on a going-forward basis and until cancellation of either the recurring payments or your account, all accrued sums on or before the payment due date for the accrued sums. The “Subscription Billing Date” is the date when you purchase your first Subscription. For information on the “Subscription Fee,” please see our /prices page. Your account will be charged automatically on the Subscription Billing Date all applicable fees and taxes for the next Subscription period. The Subscription will continue unless and until you cancel your Subscription, or we terminate it. You must cancel your Subscription before it renews in order to avoid billing of the next periodic Subscription Fee to your account. If you elect not to renew a Subscription, your account will be downgraded to the free version of the Services, and you acknowledge and accept that this may result to the Platform becoming inaccessible or permanently deleted.
Term and Termination
The term of this Agreement will commence on the Effective Date and will continue in effect unless terminated in accordance with this Agreement (the “Term”). On the effective date of termination of this Agreement, all then-current Subscriptions under the Agreement will also terminate unless otherwise agreed by both parties.
If Customer has a free version account and does not log into an account for more than 365 days, that account will be permanently deleted. Supplier will provide bimonthly (every 60 days of inactivity) reminder notifications before deleting Customer’s account. Upon such account deletion, all Customer Content will become inaccessible and may be permanently deleted.
Warranties
The information provided on the Platform is for reference only. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied and/or express warranties and make no representation as to the accuracy, suitability, applicability or completeness of any information on the Platform. We assume no liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of or reliance on the information on the Platform or for anything posted on or linked to the Platform, including without limitation any mistake, error, omission, infringement, defamation, falsehood or other material or omission that might offend or otherwise give rise to any claim or complaint.
We disclaim any endorsement or recommendation of any person, organisation, name, product or service referred to in the Platform. We further disclaim all liability in relation to information or materials posted by advertisers or sponsors on the Platform.
We make no warranties or representations in respect of your ability to access the Website and do not warrant that the functions of the Website shall be uninterrupted or error or defect free.
None of our agents or representatives is authorised to make any warranties, representations or statements regarding any information on the Website and we shall not in any way be bound by any such unauthorised warranties, representations or statements.

Severability. In the event of any one or more provisions of this Agreement becoming invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that this Agreement will otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable.
Force Majeure. Any delay in or failure of performance by either party under this Agreement will not be considered a breach of this Agreement and will be excused to the extent caused by any occurrence beyond the reasonable control of such party including accident, acts of God, fire or water damage, criminal conduct, neglect, acts of war, riots, strikes, lightening, electrical disturbances or other similar causes. Such events, occurrences or causes do not include inability to meet financial obligations. The time of performance hereunder is extended by a period of time lost because of such delay. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this section, should the Force Majeure Event last for more than 30 days, the non-affected party may terminate this Agreement immediately upon written notice to the affected party.
Governing law, Jurisdiction. Any dispute arising hereunder shall be exclusively construed in accordance with the laws of the Malaysia without regard to principles of conflict of laws. For the purpose of this Agreement, Customer consents to the personal jurisdiction and venue of the courts located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
