    An Idea Born in Crisis

    Asianhotelier.Org was conceived during the COVID-19 pandemic, born from a conviction that the hospitality profession deserved better recognition and support.

    Building the Foundation

    Work began on the Internship Platform, the first practical step toward connecting hospitality talent with industry opportunity.

  3. 2022

    Platform Launch in Langkawi

    The Internship Platform officially launched in Langkawi, marking the organisation's first tangible contribution to the industry.

  4. 2023

    Pioneer Hotels Come on Board

    Six landmark properties — Four Seasons Langkawi, Pelangi Beach, Hard Rock Penang, St Regis Langkawi, Westin Langkawi, and Tanjung Rhu Resort — signed on as founding partners, lending early credibility and momentum to the mission.

    A Strategic Partnership Takes Shape

    Preliminary conversations began with Asia Pacific University (APU), laying the groundwork for a formal academic alliance.

  6. March 2025

    MOU Signed with APU

    Asianhotelier.Org and APU formalised their partnership, establishing APU as the anchor academic and technology partner for the organisation's training mission.

    Launch of the Professional Certificate in Hospitality Supervision

    The first flagship training programme went live, translating years of planning into a structured pathway for hospitality professionals.

  8. March 2026

    First Graduating Cohort

    The inaugural intake of students graduated, marking proof that the model works and the mission is delivering real outcomes.

    Asianhotelier.Org Relaunches as a Professional Development Body

    Building on this foundation, Asianhotelier.Org relaunches as Asia's hospitality professional development body — the next chapter in elevating the profession across Malaysia, ASEAN, and beyond.
