Johnny has over 30 years of Human Resources experience garnered from working in the hospitality industry since early 90s in Sabah. He was part of the pre-opening team in Shangri-La Rasa Ria Resort and over the years has been the pillar of the HR community in Sabah.
Driven by passion towards creating job opportunities and developing talents, Johnny was instrumental in spearheading the original initiative between Shangri-La, BPSM (State HR Body) and a local hospitality college in the mid 90s which proved to be popular and benefited many young talents.
Johnny has attended numerous professional programs both locally and regionally and now looks forward to serving the industry by bringing a different perspective to the younger generation of hoteliers.
