Accorded an Honorary Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA®) by the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute in 2017 for the development of the AHLEI courses and certification and his contribution to the industry in Malaysia — one of only six people in the world to be accorded this honorary certification.
His leadership in a global organisation shaped his approach to consulting and advisory services, combining client-focused and business perspectives. He has maintained strict discipline across key operational functions including monthly closings, quarterly and management reporting, budgeting, and asset custody.
He currently holds the positions of President and CEO, major shareholder, and director of a hospitality management consultancy company, with a portfolio that also spans publishing, head-hunting, and training services.
He holds an MBA in Human Resources from the University of Wales and a Diploma in Hotel and Catering Management from Les Roches, Switzerland.
