Inderjit Kaur is a Learning & Development and Human Resources professional with 30 years of experience across the hospitality industry in Malaysia. Her career spans operations, finance, human resources, and training and development a breadth that gives her an unusually rounded perspective on what truly drives performance and people capability in a hotel environment. She began her hospitality journey as part of the pre-opening team at Sheraton Langkawi Beach Resort in 1991, where she held multiple operational roles before transitioning into training and development a path that has defined the latter and most impactful chapter of her career.
Across her tenure at various properties, Indy has delivered training strategies that have directly moved the needle on guest satisfaction, associate engagement, and brand compliance. A particularly meaningful achievement is her successful rollout of the Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia certification to upskill 48 associates who lacked formal qualifications giving industry experience the recognition it deserves, and embodying the very spirit that Asianhotelier.Org was built upon.
