Vasudevan Suppiah

Vasudevan Suppiah is a seasoned industry professional backed by 25 years of experience in Human Resources and Industrial Relations in the hospitality field, having worked extensively with both international hotel chains and independent properties throughout his career.

His professional motivation centres on addressing industry gaps. He believes there is a need for a platform for Asian hoteliers to share their knowledge and experiences, and he is committed to leveraging technology to develop solutions that encourage the recruitment and training of young people from local communities while providing equal opportunities for the next generation.

His credentials include a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of London, a Postgraduate Diploma in HRM from the University of Portsmouth, and an MBA from Universiti Utara Malaysia. He holds Certified Hospitality Administrator, Certified Hospitality Trainer, Certified Hospitality Revenue Manager, and Certified HR Auditor credentials, and served as a Member of the Malaysian Industrial Court Panel from 2009 to 2012.

Richard Christopher

Richard Christopher is a retired military officer who served in the Republic of Singapore Air Force, obtaining his Flying Wings in 1983 and retiring in 2011. Throughout his career he was privileged to interact with and learn from some of the best people and organisations across different continents, developing substantial expertise in leading personnel, strategic planning, and organisational transformation.

In the early 2000s, Christopher shifted his focus toward sustainability, completing the Singapore Certified Energy Manager course through the National Environment Agency. He established Green Ravolution Pte. Ltd. to implement aspects of the Sustainable Singapore Blueprint, concentrating on recycling and energy efficiency initiatives.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Science from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and has received recognition for his public service. He remains committed to continuous education and serves as an advisor supporting development in the hospitality sector.

Hasrul Hamid

Hasrul Hamid is a hospitality professional turned Learning & Development and Talent Specialist, whose career journey is a remarkable example of cross-functional growth within the industry. Beginning as a Commis Chef in 1997 and progressing through culinary roles before transitioning into hygiene, stewarding, and ultimately people development, Hasrul has arrived at his current calling as a Director of Learning & Development. His expertise spans learning culture development, brand service programme facilitation, talent acquisition, mentoring, and coaching — complemented by a strong grounding in food safety and hygiene governance built through years as Hygiene Coordinator and Stewarding & Hygiene Manager.
