Serena Phua

Serena Phua is a highly experienced professional with over 28 years of management experience in project planning, service quality, and operations. Her career spans the hospitality and healthcare sectors, including roles with luxury hotel chains Mandarin Oriental and Shangri-La as well as Parkway Group Healthcare.

She has held senior leadership positions, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Healthcare and Hospitality at a major Singapore support-services provider. Her expertise encompasses driving new business segments, start-up planning, pre-opening management, auditing, costing, and operations, and she has been instrumental in the pre-opening phase of over 10 new projects.

Phua is an alumna of Les Roches International School of Hotel Management in Switzerland, bringing international hospitality education credentials to her consulting practice.

Richard Christopher

Richard Christopher is a retired military officer who served in the Republic of Singapore Air Force, obtaining his Flying Wings in 1983 and retiring in 2011. Throughout his career he was privileged to interact with and learn from some of the best people and organisations across different continents, developing substantial expertise in leading personnel, strategic planning, and organisational transformation.

In the early 2000s, Christopher shifted his focus toward sustainability, completing the Singapore Certified Energy Manager course through the National Environment Agency. He established Green Ravolution Pte. Ltd. to implement aspects of the Sustainable Singapore Blueprint, concentrating on recycling and energy efficiency initiatives.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Science from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and has received recognition for his public service. He remains committed to continuous education and serves as an advisor supporting development in the hospitality sector.

Mohd Suffian Mohamed Khan

Suffian holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Facilities Management from Heriot-Watt University and has worked in hospitality since 2013. He was recently appointed to lead engineering operations at the prestigious Shangri-La Singapore.

His career progression includes senior engineering positions across luxury properties in Southeast Asia. He served as Complex Director managing engineering teams at The Westin Resort & Spa Langkawi, The St Regis Langkawi, and the Langkawi International Convention Centre, and held Cluster Chief Engineer roles overseeing Furama Riverfront and Furama City Centre in Singapore.

Earlier assignments included Chief Engineer responsibilities at Oakwood Premier OUE Singapore and assistant chief engineer positions at Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore and Swissôtel Merchant Court Singapore.

Suria Raaj

Suria Raaj is an award-winning Information Technology leader with over ten years of experience driving technology strategy, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and infrastructure operations within Marriott International’s luxury and full-service hotel portfolio across Asia-Pacific. Throughout his career, Suria has led hotel pre-opening projects and task force assignments across Malaysia and the Maldives, delivering end-to-end technology environments from concept through operational launch.

In 2021, he was honoured with the IT Field Associate of the Year Award, recognised as the top IT professional across Marriott International’s Asia-Pacific region spanning Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the Maldives, South Korea, and the Philippines.

A holder of a BSc (Hons) in Business Information Systems from Anglia Ruskin University, United Kingdom, and a Certified Train-The-Trainer with HRD Corp, Suria is equally passionate about people development as he is about technology.

Benjamin Ng is a versatile and agile hospitality leader with over 15 years of experience specialising in Food and Beverage, marked by a proven track record of building high-performing teams and aligning commercial and operational objectives.

Across senior regional and property-level roles, Benjamin has led strategic repositioning of outlets to drive revenue growth, delivered significant gains in guest and service satisfaction through training and process improvement.

He has directed large-scale food and beverage loyalty programmes spanning multiple markets, launched initiatives that meaningfully increased member engagement and revenue, and led enterprise partnerships and market activations that strengthened brand reputation across the region.
